Refresher Class

Refresher classes started from 22nd August 2017 for classes IX, X, XI & XII.


The best way of learning is to visit a place. Consequently, all the students of Std. Xii Arts requested the Principal to take them to Bhubaneshwar  the city of many historical monuments & modern age institutions. Finally, our school made a detailed plan to visit 10 Prominent places situated in Bhubaneshwar .
The ten places are:

  1. Khandagiri and Udaygiri Hills
  2. Dhauli Hills
  3. Nandan Kanan Zoo
  4. Orissa State Museum
  5. Planetarium
  6. Museum of tribal Art and Artifacts
  7. The Regional Museum of Natural history
  8. Science Park
  9. KIIT international School
  10. Kalinga Institute of Social Science

As per schedule, We left for Bhubaneshwar on 23.10.2017 evening by Kalinga Utkal Exp. Train from Tatanagar and reached BBSR the next morning on 24.10.2017 at 5.00 a.m.  We had special arrangements for transportation, lodging and boarding in Bhubaneshwar . We stayed for two days (24th & 25th Oct.’17) in Bhubaneshwar and visited all the 10 places there.
On the first day of our tour, We visited Dhauli Hills, Orissa State Museum, Khandagiri and Udaygiri Caves.
Dhauli hills are on the banks of river daya , where the kalinga war was fought. It is a sacred place of Buddhism . There are 15 caves in khandagiri while Udaygiri has is cavesThese  are related to jain Religion.
The last day of the trip was hectic but memorable. On 25th Oct.’17 early in the morning , we went to KIIT International School and attended their morning School Prayer Assembly meeting and have had our breakfast in school cafeteria.
Next, we visited Nandan Kanan Zoological Park . This Zoo has a total Nos. of 2669 different species of animals and birds. At Orissa Planetarium, We watched an Adio- Vosual Programme . Similarly, at science Park , we witnessed a 3D show. We also paid a visit to the Museum of Tribal Art of Artifacts . Towards the end of the trip, we visited the Regional Museum of National History.
It was quite an enjoyable trip for us . we returned to Jaduguda on 26th Oct,’17 morning. We still have the picture of the majestic  Bhubaneshwar  in our mind.


Report on International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day
On the eve of International Yoga Day our school organized a yoga session on 21.06.2017 in the school campus for students and teachers to create awareness and importance of yoga in our life. PET teachers demonstrated the various Aasanas along with their benefits; everyone actively participated in it and made it a grand success. The Principal spoke on the occasion and appealed one and all to spare little time for making the nation healthy and progressive.
