Refresher classes started from 22nd August 2017 for classes IX, X, XI & XII.

Report of BARC visiting

Our school organized an educational trip for the students of class- IX to ESL BARC Jaduguda on 22.11.2016 at 10am, Dr. Jha , I/C of ESL, gave a brief idea about the ESL and different form of energy , then the students came to the library, where Mr. Shethy (Scientist) demonstrated the radiation dose at various places of India. He took the students to the laboratory and demonstrated the emission  spectrometer, plasma, Gammary detector etc. After this activity , students visited the another lab , where Mr. Pattanayak (Scientist) demonstrated about the radiation dose at jaduguda and different Uranium mines in this vicinity . He explained about the normaldose and told that the radiation dose at UCIL Mines is very less than  normal dose.
The students were  escorted by Mr. G.P.Jana TGT (Maths/ Phy) and Mrs. Lata Dutta (PRT) . The educational trip was very much informative to the students . The students acquired a lot of new information and they were pleased to visit the ESL. The scientist explained all the things very minutely and they called the students as the future scientist of the country, about 1p.m the students along with the escort teachers returned to AECS-2, jaduguda.

Report on a Historical Museum visit.
Like every year , our school organized a visit to a museum in the month of Sept.2016. 18 students of std. XII Arts along with two Escort teachers visited the Victorial Memorial Museum, Kolkatta on 26.09.2016. The main objective of the Museum visit was to gather information for their history project works. In other words, it was in partial fulfillment of the course curriculum.
The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Kolkatta which was built between 1906 and 1921. Inside this grand building, there’s a vast museum having a number of gallaries of different artifacts. The students alongwith their escort teachers started their journey to the Victorial Memorial , Kolkatta in the early morning of 26.09.2016. they caught the Tata-Hawrah Steel Express Train from Rakhamines Station and reached Hawrah Station at 10.a.m. Finally, they arrived at Victoria Memorial Museum ,Kolkatta by bus at 11.00a.m. on the same day. Our students thoroughly observed the things kept in the various gallaries of the museum and noted down important points relevant in their study. The students enjoyed the journey and returned jaduguda at 9.30p.m. As a result , the students enriched their knowledge in the sphere of History & culture . The visit ended with a positive note.

A Report on Anti-Tobacco Rally Held on 24th August, 2016.

An Anti-Tobacco Rally was held today on 24th August, 2015. This Rally started from Atomic Energy Central School-2, Jaduguda at about 10:15 a.m. All the students were holding Banners, Charts and shouting the slogans against tobacco & its harmful effects. They were happy and enthusiastic in participating in this rally. The rally went through SBI ATM, then AECS-1 and many places surrounding the UCIL Colony. It ended at UCIL Football ground.

The students were shouting the slogans like ‘Tobacco Kills’, ‘Say No to Tobacco’, ‘Leave Tobacco and Live Life’, Don’t Use Products made by Tobacco Companies, ‘Tobacco Causes Cancer’ etc. in order to make people aware of the ill effects of tobacco.

The rally was guided by the teachers from the Secondary Section. For the students, it was educative as well as entertaining. The entire rally ended at about 10:50 a.m.

Report on International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day
On the eve of International Yoga Day our school organized a yoga session on 21.06.2017 in the school campus for students and teachers to create awareness and importance of yoga in our life. PET teachers demonstrated the various Aasanas along with their benefits; everyone actively participated in it and made it a grand success. The Principal spoke on the occasion and appealed one and all to spare little time for making the nation healthy and progressive.
